Purpose and Objective:  
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Technology Senior Consultant at our Pittsburgh, PA location to deliver projects as Technical Lead for customers, including support during requirement gathering phase, analysis of system landscape, technical design, and development of interface.

 

Expectations and Tasks: 
Assist team members in the development and implementation of technical solutions (Implementations, Upgrades and Migrations) and support with ongoing projects. Perform upgrades, OS/DB migrations, and HANA migration projects (experience in Implementation and blueprinting is a big plus). Provide BASIS support for projects involving HANA and S/4HANA. Provide architectural guidance on cloud migration (AWS, GCP, Azure). Design end-to-end security for SAP on premise and SAP Cloud based applications including two factor authentications and single sign-on from anywhere on any device. Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve technical problems. Manage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, understand and be responsive to project and customer needs. Adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while working under deadlines. Build credible relationships with peers and clients, and continuous professional learning of SAP products. 

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: 
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. 

 

Work Experience: 
Experience must involve 4 years in the following:
•    SAP Upgrade and Migration;
•    SAP Java Administration;
•    HANA Replication Strategy;
•    SAP Performance Tuning; and
•    Dynamic Tearing and Smart Data Streaming.
Experience must involve 2 years in the following: 
•    SAP HANA Native Storage Extension (NSE) Design and setup;
•    Integration suite and OData API Business Hub setup; and
•    Ariba Network Integration for SAP S4HANA Design.

 

Travel: Up to 50% domestic travel required to various and unanticipated client sites. Telecommuting permitted.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $110,840 - $188,445. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $130,400- $221,700. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
