Raytheon Emirates is hiring for an Associate Director, Global Contracts - Offset Agreements to join our team. In this role you will serve as an offset subject matter expert and internal advisor to the business.
This position will report to the Director, Global Contracts Offset Agreements, Raytheon. This team within Global Contracts works across Raytheon to provide regional and policy-related offset expertise, serves as interface to offset customers and industry organizations, develops, negotiates, and manages offset agreements, collaborates in the identification and development of offset projects and fulfillment approaches, and supports the use of offsets to create international competitive advantages for Raytheon.
You will provide key commercial support to the Raytheon Emirates and be responsible for negotiating and executing contracts and agreements in support of our growing business in the region. Working day-to-day with Raytheon Emirates leadership. Helping to identify and capture strategic opportunities in furtherance of the landed company strategies. You will be essential in developing strong and meaningful relationships with both customer and partners in the Middle East region.
This onsite accompanied role will be based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab of Emirates, for a long-term international assignment with additional compensation.
Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignment including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.
What You will Do
- Responsibilities include maintaining and proactively disseminating up to date knowledge and analysis of country-specific offset requirements, policies, guidelines, historical data, and offset practices.
- Lead the coordination and integration of business offset activities and building consensus and organizing one-company solutions.
- Identify offset requirements and potential fulfillment strategies as early as possible in the business capture and due diligence processes.
- Serve as the local offset customer interface and maintain excellent long-term business relationships, enhance Raytheon’s negotiating positions and supporting Raytheon’s overall offset strategy.
- Provide key commercial support to the Raytheon Emirates and be responsible for negotiating and executing contracts and agreements in support of our growing business in the region.
- Work day-to-day with Raytheon Emirates leadership, this role will help to identify and capture strategic opportunities in furtherance of the landed company strategies.
- Meet and represent Raytheon with high level foreign ranking officials and/or customers and suppliers.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
- Experience in any combination of global contracts, offset, program management, and teaming strategies, with an emphasis on international business.
- Experience in preparing proposals, estimates, technical documents, and other contract deliverable items.
- Experience developing cooperative and sustained customer relationships with foreign government representatives and defense-related organizations.
- Knowledge of evaluating proposals, estimates, technical documents, and other contract deliverable items.
- Knowledge of regulatory policy to include - Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, United States Traffic in Arms Control Regulation (ITAR), Foreign Military Sales/Direct Commercial Sales (FMS / DCS), Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement
