As a Cybersecurity Programs Community Coordinator (CPCC), this role supports Cyber Florida’s Critical Infrastructure (CIP) Program by serving as a front-line engagement and execution partner to CIP Manager.
The CPCC works directly with public- and private-sector organizations to drive adoption, completion, and effective use of Cyber Bulls-i and the Florida Cyber Risk Assessment, while maintaining strong relationships with technical staff, operational leadership, and executive stakeholders.
This position requires the ability to communicate effectively across audiences and support non-technical users, engaging technical practitioners, and reinforcing executive-level objectives. This position operates under the technical direction and strategic priorities set by the CIP Manager.
Job Summary
Utilizing Cyber Bulls-i, the Florida Cyber Risk Assessment, and Cyber Florida resources, the Cybersecurity Programs Community Coordinator supports statewide efforts to assess and strengthen cybersecurity maturity across Florida’s critical infrastructure sectors. This includes analyzing engagement and assessment data to identify trends and inform program improvements and representing Cyber Florida at workshops and partner events to promote adoption and advance cybersecurity risk awareness.
The CPCC focuses on outreach, engagement, onboarding, and sustained participation, particularly among under-resourced sectors and communities, ensuring organizations understand the value of assessment completion and how results connect to actionable resources, training, and services.
In addition, you will provide value to organizations by:
- Assisting with information security planning and management activities.
- Advising on organizational and management structures related to cybersecurity.
- Supporting initiatives affecting information practices.
- Managing security risk and evaluating third parties with access to organizational data.
Overall, your role as a Cybersecurity Programs Community Coordinator will be instrumental in driving cybersecurity resilience and community support across various sectors and communities in Florida.
Cyber Bulls-i & Assessment Support
- Support organizations in onboarding, navigating, and completing the Florida Cyber Risk Assessment within Cyber Bulls-i.
Provide first-line assistance to organizations with assessment questions, access issues, and general platform usage, escalating technical issues as appropriate. Reinforce the importance of assessment completion and data quality, supporting statewide re-engagement efforts.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Engage regularly with technical staff, IT leadership, and executive stakeholders to explain assessment purpose, outcomes, and next steps in accessible language.
Serve as a trusted relationship manager for participating organizations, maintaining consistent communication and follow-up.
Assist in organizing and supporting workshops, briefings, and informational sessions aligned to CIP Program goals.
Program Execution & Coordination
- Assist the CI Program Manager with coordinating with internal Cyber Florida teams (training, mapping, SOC, outreach) to align resources with identified organizational needs.
- Assist the CI Program Manager in the development and distribution of playbooks, toolkits, guidance documents, and training materials.
- Support CIP-related events, conferences, and partner engagements as directed by the CIP Program Manager.
Data, Tracking & Reporting
- Utilize HubSpot or other tracking tools to log engagements, meetings, assessment progress, and feedback.
- Track participation trends, common barriers, and frequently asked questions, providing insights to the CIP Program Manager to inform program improvements.
- Assist with survey distribution and collection to capture partner feedback.
Community & Resource Enablement
- Identify and help connect organizations, especially under-resourced sectors, to appropriate Cyber Florida tools, training, and external resources.
- Assist the CI Program Manager with reviewing and editing deliverables such as tabletop exercises, incident response plans, and supporting materials.
Minimum Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
- 4-6 years of experience in cybersecur
