Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative Healthtech company on the Platform Infrastructure team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and improving our software development and delivery processes, ensuring the availability, scalability, and reliability of our healthcare technology platform. Your expertise in DevOps practices and tools will play a crucial role in optimizing our infrastructure, automating workflows, and enabling efficient collaboration between development and operations teams. Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement DevOps strategies, processes, and best practices for our Healthtech platform.
- Collaborate with software development teams to design, build, and deploy scalable and highly available systems and services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
- Establish and maintain continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software releases.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and security by implementing appropriate monitoring and alerting tools.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and utilize cloud services for application hosting, data storage, and networking.
- Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct regular security assessments and implement measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Stay up to date with the latest DevOps trends, tools, and technologies, and drive continuous improvement within the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role in the Healthtech or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, with hands-on experience implementing DevOps methodologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Solid knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
- Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
- Understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices for securing cloud-based systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a timely manner.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
- Experience with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and healthcare compliance regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and management tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
- Knowledge of database administration, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures.
