About the Team
The Enterprise Document Management Platform team is responsible for managing the Enterprise system of record for over 15 billion customer related documents to support critical servicing and business needs. We’re looking for a Senior Manager to drive the foundational platform strategy that supports secure, scalable, and resilient document and metadata lifecycle management. The individual will drive platform modernization initiatives while ensuring robust data governance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate can drive discovery and solution design for broad problem statements that are not pre-defined and can work cross-functionally with multiple teams to develop solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Lead multiple teams of software engineers to design and deliver platform features for users

• Understand the enterprise data requirements and ensure the platform’s compliance with enterprise patterns and standards

• Create a vision and roadmap for the core platform that addresses stakeholder needs 

• Partner with data analysts, engineers, and others to continuously refine the roadmap and generate insights for stakeholders

• Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders that depend on the capabilities and performance of our platform

• Continuously optimize platform APIs and service performance, usability, and operational efficiency

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: 

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

  • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
