Responsibilities
Assist in the oversight of the initial response to student and academic reports of discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct, including discrimination and harassment on the basis of protected classes including race, color, national origin and shared ancestry, and sexual assault, sexual abuse, sexual harassment, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking, through outreach and initial intake, including providing information regarding supportive measures, resources, and referrals to University resolution processes, as appropriate.
Monitors incoming reports and provides initial response to reports as part of CARES response team, on a rotating basis, as needed.
Conducts intakes with reporting individuals and provides ongoing case management, as needed.
Conduct and coordinate necessary safety and compliance follow-up in response to reports, including, but not limited to, conducting campus safety analysis, evaluating for hostile environment, identifying timely warnings and campus security threats in collaboration with the Department of Safety and Security.
Autonomously determines and manages the implementation of supportive measures with campus partners.
Analyze and utilize data to design and implement projects related to matters under the related University policies and processes, and work on cross functional teams to advance the development of University policies, processes, and resolution options.
Coordinates and monitors department compliance with minimal guidance.
Proactively prepares, completes and submits all compliance documentation on a routine basis.
This work is completed independently and autonomously with minimal guidance.
Lead projects as directed by the Executive Director and Associate Provost on related University policy and process development and case management.
Maintain, in partnership with Director, Response and Support Services and Director, Resolution Services, case management databases to organize, manage, and track reports; leads updates to internal systems processes changes, as needed.
Ensure proper documentation and tracking of all incoming reports in coordination with other CARES team members.
Conduct and document campus safety analysis on reports received.
Lead coordination and documentation processes for assessing hostile environment.
Assist Director in the preparation of annual compliance reports and internal reports.
