About the role
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Collaborate with Sales stakeholders to build and maintain a robust RFP pipeline, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and deliver competitive solutions by supporting the Products and Global Tender Management (GTM) teams in preparing and responding to global and regional tenders, in line with the organization’s budget and strategic goals.
- Act as a facilitator between the product teams and regional markets, ensuring strategic alignment and effective execution across all levels.
- Create and manage strategic reports tailored to the needs of the products teams, providing insights and analysis to guide market strategy.
- Lead the GTM team in developing and implementing new product solutions that meet specific customer requests, offering guidance and direction on how RFQs (Request for Quotes) should be managed and executed.
- Assist in reviewing tender files led by the GTM team, ensuring the accuracy of data, formulas, and competitiveness before final submission to the client.
- Proven experience handling RFQs within both the ocean and air freight markets, ensuring competitive pricing and effective solution delivery.
- Demonstrated resilience and the ability to supervise multiple RFQs simultaneously, with strong multi-tasking skills, particularly during peak season.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Time Management: Excellent at managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, especially during high-pressure periods like peak season.
- Problem Solving: Proactive in identifying challenges and developing effective solutions to meet client and business needs.
- Excellent Communication: Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and negotiate effectively with internal teams and external clients.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly across various teams, including Sales, Operations, and GTM, to deliver optimal outcomes.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Focused on understanding and anticipating customer needs, delivering tailored solutions that drive long-term relationships.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in using business tools and software to analyze and manage data (e.g., MS Excel, ERP systems, CRM tools).
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a flexible approach to changing market conditions and business requirements.
- Global Market Understanding: In-depth knowledge of international logistics, supply chain dynamics, and market trends within both air and ocean freight sectors.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering/Business/Supply Chain or equivalent
- MBA and/or Industrial Engineering favored
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Logistics experience preferred (freight forwarding, warehousing, customs brokerage, 3PL)
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSES
Professional certification may be required in some areas.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Job requires the ability to use vision, adjust focus and work on a standard computer screen
- Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment, typing and using a mouse
- Job will require presence on-site at the assigned work location; attendance is a requirement of the position
