As a Cloud Solutions Architect focused on delivering enterprise healthcare solutions in Microsoft Azure, your primary responsibility will be to ensure customers successfully navigate and accelerate their cloud transformation journey.

This is a senior-level, technical, customer-facing role accountable for the end-to-end cloud solution design and delivery experience. You will act as a trusted advisor to both business and technical stakeholders, leading architectural strategy and implementation across infrastructure, DevOps, application modernization (including Power Platform and custom development), and data & AI initiatives — with an emphasis on Lakehouse architectures that drive scalable, compliant, and actionable analytics.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in customer-facing roles, particularly within healthcare or highly regulated environments, and a proven ability to lead strategic discussions around solution architecture, cloud economics, and technical implementation. Delivery engagements will often focus on healthcare-specific data integration, transformation, and analytics, leveraging Azure-native services and open standards to accelerate value realization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and advise on lakehouse architecture using Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, Databricks, and supporting Azure Services.
• Serve as technical lead for cross-functional cloud initiatives involving infrastructure, DevOps, application development, and data/AI.
• Lead solution design and governance for Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and integrate with Azure services and custom APIs.
• Provide code review and audit support across multiple programming languages including SparkSQL, Python, C#, and JavaScript.
• Implement DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and document architecture blueprints, solution roadmaps, and reference implementations.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements for security, compliance (HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST, etc.), scalability, and operational excellence.
• Provide domain specific guidance and solutioning around healthcare specific use-cases and business challenges involving HL7, FHIR, X12, and other healthcare specific data formats.
• Conduct executive-level briefings to customers that have engaged with 3Cloud for their cloud transformation.
• Coach and develop early in career engineers to expand their skillsets and capabilities to become well-rounded, independent engineers.
• Develop code assets, templates, and sample code that the engineers can use to increase project velocity.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience designing and delivering cloud solutions, with at least 5 years on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong expertise across Azure infrastructure services (VMs, VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, etc.).
• Experience building and deploying modern data pipelines and lakehouse platforms (Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Delta Lake).
• Solid understanding of Power Platform, REST APIs, and custom connector development.
• Proficient in DevOps tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform/Bicep, ARM templates.
• Deep familiarity with Azure security models (RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, Conditional Access).
