Engineering Manager, Business Enablement and Experimentation

Role Description

The Dropbox team is growing, and we’re looking for engineering managers to support this growth. In this role, you'll lead a team of 5 engineers to build the future of A/B testing at Dropbox. Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for growing and developing an incredible team of hardworking and motivated engineers with high expectations around individual ownership and impact
• You will be responsible for building the future of A/B testing at Dropbox
• You will be responsible for making the team nimble by investing in Operational Excellence and continuously reduce redundant systems
• You will develop a healthy and collaborative culture that embodies Dropbox's values.
• You will ensure your team delivers extraordinary output, and continuously seeks ways to make an outsized impact
• You will set direction for the team, anticipate strategic and scaling-related challenges via thoughtful long-term planning
• You will help craft technical and product strategy

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience
• 4+ years of total software engineering experience, including 2+ years with direct management responsibilities.
• Experience setting a vision and iteratively deliver progress to it.
• Experience with distributed systems or backend infrastructure at scale
• Experience as a software developer across the stack
• Strong on analytical capabilities to optimize solutions in a space with a lot of complex moving pieces, variables and constraints
• Ability to mentor team members on having the highest possible impact
