Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

As a Registered Nurse - Med/Surg, you will manage and provide direct and indirect nursing care. You will be responsible for the direction and supervision of ancillary personnel assigned to patients.

 

Work Schedule: 0.7 FTE Nights. 8- hour shifts with every other weekend rotation. 

 

Required Qualifications:

Required:

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Current Minnesota RN license with regular renewal.
• Current BLS - American Heart Association or BLS - American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider).
• Those without telemetry experience:
  • Completion of telemetry course within nine (9) months of start date.
• Those with telemetry experience: 
  • Completion of competency validation. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's  or Master's degree in Nursing.
• Previous related health care experience.
• Assessment of care of all pre and post-op surgical/orthopedic and general medical patients.
• Knowledge and care of patients on anticoagulation protocol.
• Knowledge and care in the use of all specialized orthopedic equipment.
