This critical role involves maintaining complex building systems across a multi-tenanted campus, including HVAC systems, electrical distribution, communications infrastructure, and critical switch rooms.</p><p> </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Critical Systems Management</b></p><ul><li>Monitor and maintain HVAC systems</li><li>Oversee water management systems</li><li>Maintain electrical distribution systems and emergency power generation equipment, emergency backup systems, UPS management.</li></ul><p><b>Regulatory Compliance & Documentation</b></p><ul><li>Ensure all facility operations comply statuary compliance</li><li>Complete accurate shift logs, maintenance records, and regulatory documentation</li><li>Participate in regulatory inspections and audits as required</li><li>Maintain calibration schedules for critical monitoring equipment</li></ul><p><b>Preventive & Reactive Maintenance</b></p><ul><li>Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities according to established protocols</li><li>Respond to emergency calls and system alarms within established timeframes</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair building automation systems (BAS) and process equipment</li><li>Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs</li></ul><p><b>Safety & Environmental Management</b></p><ul><li>Implement and maintain safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and company standards</li><li>Monitor environmental conditions including temperature, humidity, and particulate levels</li><li>Manage hazardous waste disposal and chemical storage procedures</li><li>Conduct safety inspections and participate in safety training programs</li></ul><p><b> </b></p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><p><b>Education & Certifications</b></p><ul><li>Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Facilities Management, or related field</li><li>Relevant trade certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred</li><li>FDA-regulated environment experience strongly preferred</li></ul><p><b>Experience</b></p><ul><li>3-5 years of facilities engineering experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or similar regulated environment</li><li>Experience with cleanroom operations and GMP requirements</li><li>Knowledge of building automation systems (Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens)</li></ul><p><b>Technical Skills</b></p><ul><li>Understanding of HVAC psychrometrics and cleanroom classifications (ISO 14644)</li><li>Knowledge of electrical systems including motor controls and power distribution</li><li>Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)</li><li>Basic understanding of process validation and qualification protocols</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field</li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) license</li><li>Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies</li><li>Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes</li><li>Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 electronic records requirements</li></ul><p> </p><p>This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a global client, lead a diverse team, and drive innovation in facilities management.
