About the role

<p></p> <p>Found.ation is looking to add a member to its EU Funded Projects Team. We are looking for an Innovation Project Manager to help develop and scale key projects and services of the company. They must be tech-savvy, have experience in relevant fields and understand the concepts of innovation, digital transformation and business training. The candidate will be expected to have good project management skills and be involved in all company’s activities including the startup, innovation and education pillars.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul> <ul> <li>Monitor and map EU funding opportunities in the context of different Funding Programmes, such as Erasmus plus, Horizon Europe, CREA, CERV, Interreg, etc. throughout the year. Prioritise and make concrete and sound recommendations for proposal submission.</li> <li>Contribute to the definition of project ideas, drafting of concept notes, as well as the development of proposals.</li> <li>Understanding of the consortium building process and contribution to its set up and finalisation.</li> <li>Supervise, coordinate and undertake project-related tasks, including but not limited to draft and review deliverables, services and reports based on quality objectives/ standards.</li> <li>Lead day-to-day project management activities, including but not limited to monitoring of deadlines, costs, timeplans and resources.</li> <li>Communicate effectively both within the organisation, as well as with external partners (academia/ research, freelancers, industrial partners, public authorities, etc).</li> <li>Assist in the operational and procedural aspects of the EU Funded Project business unit, creating and drafting processes and policies, to ensure team alignment and capacity building.</li> </ul> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>University Degree in Management, Economics, Engineering or other related discipline. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.</li> <li>At least 5 years of general professional experience.</li> <li>Minimum 3 years of experience in project management of EU Research and Innovation projects.</li> <li>Proven record in successful proposal preparation &amp; implementation of EU R&amp;I programs.</li> <li>Ability to transfer strategic objectives in business growth opportunities.</li> <li>Ability to manage and control project management responsibilities including project objectives, requirements and constraints.</li> <li>Sound organisational skills and attention to detail.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills in English and Greek.</li> <li>Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools &amp; presentation skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).</li> <li>Good analytical and strategy development skills.</li> <li>Strong sense of ownership for quality of work and deliverables.</li> <li>Ability to get people on board.</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>A competitive salary package</li> <li>Continuous career development opportunities</li> <li>Hybrid working model</li> <li>Remote work possibility</li> <li>25 vacation days per year</li> <li>Paid sickness days</li> <li>Team building activities, volunteering opportunities</li> <li>Be part of an evolving, creative, human-centerednvironment with talented people and great culture</li> <li>Work in a diverse, collaborative co-working space in the center of Athens</li> </ul>
