The Role:

We are looking for an accomplished Digital & Corporate Functions Talent Partner to join our Global Talent Acquisition team helping bring top talent into Moderna for the future.

As Moderna is undergoing unprecedented global pipeline development, join us to help lead the charge in building the next generation of the company. With 45 vaccine and therapeutic programs, 9 of which are in late-stage development, we are thrilled to bring in a dynamic and experienced biopharma talent partner. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Moderna at a critical inflection point. This role will be based in our Cambridge, MA HQ.

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner who will be part of our Corporate Functions TA team, supporting the Digital function.  This person will own the recruiting process for our Digital team and is willing to grow their skills and capabilities within the role.  This position involves heavy hands-on recruiting including sourcing, screening, assessment, and selection. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting software development engineers, technical program managers, product managers, and development managers (among others).

Driven by a deep understanding of the Moderna culture and Mindsets, the biopharmaceutical industry, its competitors, and overall market conditions, you will proactively partner with HR, Recruiting Leads, and business leaders to understand Moderna’s scaling and long-term workforce needs to develop robust, forward-thinking candidate pipelines through creative and innovative sourcing strategies and methods. You will act as an advisor, using market data analysis and industry research to inform sourcing strategies that enable future capability building, and influence stakeholders to act proactively regarding their current/future talent mix and talent market availability.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with Digital leadership to own and evolve full life cycle recruiting efforts to build an innovative and agile tech organization. This includes creation of progressive talent-hunting strategies, along with new approaches to talent assessment, great closing skills and strong use of talent platforms to inform and shape thinking.
  • Own and manage up to 20 searches at any given time. The ideal candidate must love hands-on recruitment, have a demonstrated passion and history of finding the best leadership talent in the market. Partner with key internal stakeholders such as the Candidate Experience Associate (CEA), Talent Acquisition Operations (TA Ops), Finance, Compensation (Comp), and HR Business Partners (HRBPs).
  • Grow and Develop into a consultative partner to the business, aiming to run a seamless hiring process and improve recruitment outcomes.
  • Utilize external and pipeline data to influence candidate slates and hiring decisions.
  • Collaborate with Leaders up to the Senior Director level on roles within a sub-function or direct line.
  • Conduct full-cycle sourcing, screening, assessment, and selection of candidates.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition (at least 3 of which should be in an in-house tech recruiting role)
  • Experience in technology recruitment in a high growth world-class global tech company is preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of managing candidates and hiring managers across the recruiting lifecycle
  • Exceptional sourcing and candidate management.
  • Expert skills in creatively assessing technical talent
  • A high drive for results. You set a high bar for yourself and others.
  • A natural ability to be organized in how you think, communicate, and conduct your work, leveraging data to tell a story.
  • A ‘digital first’ mindset and learning agility to leverage new technology systems and tools, including expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Applicant Tracking Systems, CRMs, and sourcing technologies.
