Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Position Overview:

Solid Power is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team of Production Operators who are working to revolutionize the battery industry through the development of next-generation, all solid-state rechargeable batteries. Leveraging manufacturing experience and leadership abilities, this position contributes to daily direction in Solid Power’s growing Pilot/Production area. This position reports to the Pilot Production Manager.

Job Duties:

• Directly supervise production operators during the 2nd shift, to include shift handoff and end of shift responsibilities.
• Oversee daily operations of production lines.
• Prioritize team workload.
• Champion a culture of continuous quality and productivity improvements.
• Foster a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
• Maintain general lab safety and daily work cleanliness.
• Support employee development.
• Direct resource management in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Actively engage in talent management through optimization of hiring, training, and team member deployment.
• Review quality output with team and management.
• Coach team members in technical and behavioral competencies in order to deliver high impact business results.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science preferred or equivalent years of experience required. High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 7 years of supervisory, team lead or managerial experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Battery industrial manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Experience with an ERP systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot processes and equipment.
• Ability to convey information with clarity and directness.
• Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done.
• Consistent and reliable job attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work 2nd shift, which is 1:30pm to 12:00am, Tuesday through Friday

Salary Range: $63,000 - $100,000/annually
