About River Landing Ambulatory Surgery Center

• The River Landing Surgery Center at the Ambulatory Care Center will open summer 2024. As an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), it will focus on providing same-day surgical care to patients with added convenience. ASCs have a strong track record of quality care and positive patient outcomes.

About The Career:

• Organizes, coordinates, and expedites the daily management of cases through Sterile Processing. Demonstrate competent and skilled performance in the reprocessing of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment. Maintain necessary quality control monitoring systems to verify sterility is achieved. Participates in Multi-disciplinary team (including physicians) in coordination and provision of Quality Assurance. Assists in staff development and interdepartmental relations. Coordinates and directs work of the SPD. The SPD Lead assesses, reassesses, and adjusts unit activities through-out the day along with the Nurse Manager to meet ongoing patient and unit needs.

All About You:

• Education: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Training & Experience: Registered Central Sterilizing Technician (RSPDT) or Certified Registered Central Sterilizing Technician (CRSPDT).
• Job Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of cleaning and sterilization procedures and techniques. Understanding of all functions of the department.
