As part of the UCLA Health Patient Access Organization, the Quality Assurance Analyst plays a vital role on the Template Management Office team in ensuring that provider template and schedule edits are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Through various auditing and reporting techniques, the analyst will identify areas of opportunity, work with the manager and team members to highlight and explain these areas, and help to develop corrective plans.

In addition, the analyst will assist in developing and deploying scheduling and templating best practices, in order ensure appropriate access to care. This will include in depth root cause and current state analysis and the use of lean methodologies to develop, implement, monitor, and adjust improvement plans.

Salary Range: $32.95-$67.53

Required:

·      Experience with CareConnect (Epic) or comparable EMR system

·      Experience with physician/clinic schedules and workflows

·      Strong analytic and problem-solving skills

·      Proficiency in MS Excel (with an emphasis on linking, spreadsheet management, data manipulation and analysis)

·      Skill in writing concise, logical and grammatically correct correspondence.

·      Interpersonal skills to communicate diplomatically and effectively with all levels of faculty, staff and non-University entities

·      Skill in performing a variety of tasks independently with minimal direction in a timely matter under conditions of fluctuating workloads, competing requirements, and changing deadlines and priorities

·      Ability to understand and adhere to HIPAA Regulations, Policies and Procedures

·      Skill in dealing with confidential material with tact and sensitivity<
