The Senior Product Designer is a remote position, allowing you to work from home and be located anywhere in the United States. However, preference will be given to candidates based in the Eastern and Central time zones, as the majority of our team is located in Europe. 

 

What you will be doing 

• User Research & Insights: Conduct and analyze user research using various methods (e.g., observation, surveys, interviews, user testing) to gather deep insights into user needs and behavior. 

• Discovery & Roadmap Planning: Collaborate with the Product Manager to conduct discovery research that informs and shapes the product roadmap, aligning it with user needs and business goals. 

• Design & Prototyping: Translate user insights and business requirements into concept designs, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that simplify complexity for expert users. 

• Global & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with a global design team in Finland, Sweden and the US, as well as with key stakeholders in Finland, the US and Portugal, to ensure alignment and high-quality execution of designs. 

• Implementation Support: Partner with developers in Europe to ensure that the designs are implemented to the highest standards, providing guidance throughout the development process. 

 

We’re Looking For 

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in end-to-end product design, with a strong focus on user research and interaction design.  

• B2B Experience: Previous experience with data-heavy software and complex use cases is essential. 

• Challenging assumptions: Demonstrated ability to challenge existing assumptions and product requirements based on user research and your understanding of user needs 

• Dev collaboration: Experience working directly with developers through implementation 

• Communication: Comfortable presenting designs and articulating design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• International experience: Proven ability to work effectively in an international environment with stakeholders in the US and Europe. 

• Proactivity: Ability to self-manage and contribute to a positive team atmosphere, sharing knowledge, and solving problems collaboratively.
