The Resuscitation Clinical Program Manager at Main Campus is responsible for setting priorities that support the development and advancement of primary and comprehensive clinical programs. This role leads and coordinates operations related to performance improvement initiatives, fostering integrated, coordinated, and comprehensive patient care. Additionally, the manager organizes and facilitates Code Blue event reviews, which include a detailed clinical analysis of both the resuscitation event and the 24-hour period preceding it. These reviews are required by the Joint Commission and play a critical role in driving continuous improvement within the Resuscitation Program, enhancing patient safety, and identifying opportunities to improve clinical outcomes.

A caregiver in this position works Monday – Friday with flexible start times from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. No Weekends

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Ensure priorities are established for primary and comprehensive clinical program development. 
  • Develop, build, manage and support program development and activities. 
  • Manage operations associated with external clinical management systems. 
  • Investigate issues and concerns related to performance measure compliance to determine root cause. 
  • Oversee and coordinate activities for applicable committees and/or councils which manage clinical program activity enterprise wide. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field 
  • Current state licensure as an RN or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) 
  • 5 years of experience with appropriate patient population and/or quality management projects, systems development or related experience 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

  • Master's Degree 
  • Critical Care background (Code Blue)
  • Leadership/administrative management experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Quality/accreditation experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
  • Will require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to travel to various locations throughout the Cleveland Clinic; must have normal or corrected vision to normal range, ability to clearly communicate verbally.
  • Sedentary Work -; Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
  • Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing.
