What You’ll Do
As an Office & Warehouse Manager at Paul Davis, you’ll be the operational backbone that keeps our Mitigation and Reconstruction teams moving. From staging vaults to managing inventory and keeping our Carlstadt facility spotless, your work ensures technicians show up on‑site with exactly what they need—on time and in top condition. This is hands‑on, purpose‑driven work that matters.You will:
- Own warehouse organization and 5s standards—keep aisles clear, signage up, and vaults neatly stacked (up to 3‑high via forklift).
- Stage and turn equipment/vaults for pack‑outs and pack‑backs; verify contents lists and ensure trucks roll out fully stocked.
- Oversee fleet van maintenance and readiness—perform daily walk‑arounds to ensure vans are stocked, schedule oil changes, tire rotations, and state inspections; coordinate body‑work or mechanical repairs; keep interiors clean, stocked, and DOT‑compliant.
- Work closely with the Director of Mitigation on inventory accuracy, equipment purchases, and repair decisions for vans/equipment.
- Clean, test, and tag equipment on return; route damaged units for repair and track idle days to improve utilization.
- Join daily morning huddles with the Director of Mitigation and Project Managers to surface shortages, shipping needs, and priority jobs.
- Receive and dispatch deliveries—from consumables to subcontractor drop‑offs—verifying paperwork and logging serial numbers.
- Operate and maintain material‑handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) with daily safety inspections and OSHA compliance.
- Handle light office administration: reset laptops/tablets for interns, manage mail and courier pickups, and coordinate small‑item purchasing.

We’re seeking highly organized warehouse professionals who combine reliability, ownership, and a service mindset to keep our field teams mission‑ready. Required:
- High character with a track record of reliability and teamwork
- 2+ years of warehouse, inventory, or facilities management experience
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days) and clean driver’s license
- Ability to lift 75 lbs., operate material‑handling equipment, and work in non‑climate‑controlled settings
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft 365, inventory or fleet‑tracking software)
- Strong communication skills and a “see‑it‑own‑it” attitude toward safety and cleanliness
- Flexibility to work early mornings and occasionally weekends (as needed).
