Medical Coder

CDR Financial Services is seeking a skilled Medical Coder to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for accurately coding medical diagnoses, treatments, and procedures in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Accurately code medical conditions, treatments and procedures for various types of medical claims.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all coding activities.
• Work closely with healthcare staff to clarify documentation and coding requirements.
• Audit and review medical records to ensure coding accuracy.
• Receive and review medical claims, identifying errors and omissions.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical office setting with medical coding experience.
• American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) certification strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with ICD and CPT coding systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare staff.

• Outstanding organizational skills.
