Virtualization Consultant

We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional to join our UniQue Netherlands team!</p><p>In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.</p><p><strong>What will you be bringing to the team?</strong></p><ul> <li>Drive engineering specifications of VMWare vRealize Automation</li> <li>Produce the corresponding engineering design and operations manual</li> <li>Coordinate with the security engineering team, the infrastructure engineering team and the architects, factoring those teams’ input into the engineering specifications</li> <li>Assist in the validation and testing of the vRealize Automation solution in various environments, including test, preproduction, and production.</li> <li>Ensure that the solution functions as intended and meets performance, scalability, and reliability criteria.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and address any issues or discrepancies identified during validation.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>What do you need to succeed in this position?</p><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or 3 years of higher education</li> <li>Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering of VMWare solutions, especially vRA / vRO</li> <li>Minimum 6 years experience with Virtual Server / Virtual Machine engineering and build </li> <li>Minimum 2 years experience with IPAM and Firewall (Checkpoint) technology specifications</li> <li>Participation in a minimum of 2 self service provisioning related projects</li> <li>Participation in a minimum of 1 ICT Research and Innovation related project</li> <li>Good knowledge of virtualization technologies and products</li> <li>Good knowledge of security infrastructure</li> <li>Working knowledge of English at B2 level</li> </ul><p><br/></p><p>At Uni Systems, we are providing equal employment opportunities and banning any form of discrimination on grounds of gender, religion, race, color, nationality, disability, social class, political beliefs, age, marital status, sexual orientation or any other characteristics.
