Strategic Sourcing Specialist

We’re looking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our procurement team and drive value through smart sourcing decisions, effective negotiation, and continuous improvement. In this role, you’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution—diving into spend data, supplier performance, and contract details to uncover savings opportunities and operational efficiencies.  
 

Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across assigned categories to deliver long-term value and resilience.

• Perform detailed spend analyses, supplier benchmarking, and total cost of ownership (TCO) assessments.

• Engage stakeholders to understand business requirements and align sourcing initiatives accordingly.

Negotiation & Supplier Management

• Lead contract negotiations to secure optimal pricing, service levels, and commercial terms.

• Build strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.

• Manage supplier risk, performance metrics (KPIs), and corrective action plans.

Cost Reduction & Continuous Improvement

• Identify and deliver measurable cost savings, efficiency gains, and process improvement opportunities.

• Develop business cases and track savings delivery against targets.

• Streamline sourcing processes and implement best practices to enhance procurement efficiency.

Operations

• Get hands-on with data extraction, bid analysis, and contract reviews—comfortable working “in the weeds” when needed.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely procurement execution and alignment with operational needs.

• Assist other team members

Key Competencies

• Commercially astute and analytical with strong attention to detail

• 4-10 years experience in Procurement

• Hands on problem solver

• Collaborative and adept at managing stakeholder expectations

• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

• Adaptable, and ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving business environment

• CIPs preferred
