About the Role

 

As a Vehicle Safety Partnership Manager your responsibilities are:

 

• As a technical expert, understand the need of OEM and insurance clients in the field of vehicle safety and vehicle automation and match them to the capabilities and products of AMS to create strong and monetized partnerships
• Support the Solutions origination team for AMS's Risk-Based Vehicle Testing and Autonomous Vehicles Risk Assessment Framework product suites as a technical expert
• Build good relationships with the most important industry players and be at the forefront of innovation for building insurance products for new vehicle technologies

 

Support the Product Development team with technical expertise and market insights in current and future product development

The Automotive & Mobility Solution team is part of Swiss Re's Reinsurance Solutions unit. This role can be placed at any US office location, and for the right candiate, the job can be done remote within US.

Essentials

 

• Strong passion for innovation and new technologies in the field of mobility
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle automation and/or vehicle safety
• Motivation and open-mindedness to craft the insurance landscape for new vehicle technologies

 

Additional

 

• You have 5+ years of relevant working experience
• Experience in primary insurance, data science and a curiosity about tech-based solutions is an advantage
• Degree in Engineering or similar
• Excellent oral and written command of English

For Armonk, NY, the estimated base salary range for this position is $128,00 to $225,000.  The specific salary offered for this, or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget.  At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions.
