General Maintenance Worker

Pay: $19.50 per hour
Schedule:  Full-time, 8-hour days

What you’ll do: You’ll be responsible for maintaining equipment and facilities.

Essential functions:

1. Perform maintenance and repair of structures, electrical systems, heating, plumbing, ventilation, and air conditioning and drainage systems. 
2. Repair or replace faulty or damaged light fixtures, outlets and fuses as directed, which may include standing or climbing on a ladder to perform such functions.
3. Perform minor construction and repair of structural woodwork.
4. Perform on-call support in emergency situations when equipment malfunctions. 

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical training and general knowledge of repair and maintenance, and three (3) years of maintenance or related experience required. 
• Must successfully complete required preservice training.
• A valid Texas driver license with an acceptable driving record is required, unless waived by management.
