  • In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time.

  • To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.

What You Will Do

  • We are seeking a Systems Integration Engineer II to join our Engineering team in Aurora, Colorado for the role of System Readiness Integration Engineer. 

  • In this role, you will work with cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions. 

  • The System Readiness Integration Engineer plan plans and performs Integration assignments involving complex software and hardware subsystems and resolves identified conflicting issues.   

  • Participates in a complex program which includes establishing methods and techniques, planning and writing integration procedures/sequences and reports, and conducting tests utilizing comprehensive knowledge of these complex subsystems.

  • Utilizes a broad knowledge of precedents in integration engineering and applies understanding of principles of related engineering and software technology to ensure test validity and integrity.

  • Conducts tests, which include collaborating with others in establishing language, database, and computer simulation requirements and configuration management techniques.

  • Develop and execute integration sequences 

  • Identify technical issues during integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to determine root cause and drive toward closure

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis

  • Work in an Agile program environment

  • Work in a classified lab on site in Aurora, Colorado

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant systems integration and test experience or 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in (STEM)

  • Experience in Hands-on keyboard integration engineering on a government software development contract

  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving software system execution problems

  • Experience with systems engineering principles and activities

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment

  • Experience with ground station and satellite domains (such as terrestrial data networking, command and telemetry, launch operations, flight dynamics, mission planning, on-orbit operations)

  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), Experience utilizing discrepancy report systems

  • Experience with Raytheon EclipseTM or Raytheon EquinoxTM

  • Experience with script development (Python, Perl, CECIL), Experience with Java, C++, or Python, Experience with Linux operating system
