Job Description
The Senior Marketing Communications Specialist role supports the development and execution of strategic content for executive-level written, digital, and verbal communications and marketing initiatives within Aramark’s Growth teams and lines of business (LOBs). Serves a critical role in enhancing brand presence across its respective channels by developing communication materials demonstrating Aramark’s innovations and service values for its constituents.
This role will report to the department Marketing Communications Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement and develop the communications and content strategy, including client presentations, newsletters, metric reports, and more.
- Write, edit, and produce content for executive communications including, but not limited to, stakeholder emails, speeches, keynote addresses, video scripts, articles, newsletters, correspondence, etc.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar for various communications, including client newsletters, client business reviews, line of business and industry-specific events, etc.
- Coordinate with vendors to oversee graphic development of communication materials.
- Manage communication processes, oversee pilot programs, and develop and distribute training materials and content as needed.
- Develop best practices to highlight success in the field through webinars, newsletters, etc.
- Coordinate with the Senior Leadership Team to manage messaging, develop content, highlight LOB priorities, and maintain the editorial calendar utilizing subject matter expert insights.
- Monitor digital properties for incoming requests for information, triage for follow-up, and track to completion.
- Manage internal and client distribution lists for communications.
- Perform general administrative duties, as requested, including meeting scheduling and invoice processing.
- Foster internal departmental relationships by supporting program communication, client presentations, and project management needs.
- Facilitate internal training and webinars and provide post-event analysis to senior leaders.
- Provide direction and insight into programs and processes through presentations to peers, field teams, senior leaders, and clients as needed.
- Support Marketing & Communications Team with future launch of LOB programs and brands through external and internal communications.
- Establish and implement internal and external communication plans to support enterprise initiatives and programs within the designated LOB, including but not limited to the Global Client Survey, Sustainability efforts, and Center of Excellence
- Build and maintain relationships with senior leadership (LOB Presidents, RVPs, Growth, Retention) teams and subject matter experts to understand account needs and provide strategic guidance to support growth and retention as applicable
Qualifications
- Healthcare industry experience preferred, but not required.
- Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration or other related fields) with 4-6 years of relevant professional marketing experience
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written), proofreading, editing, customer service, and management skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products
- Strong interpersonal skills, a self-starter, confident in their abilities, self-motivated, and thrives on both functioning independently and in a team
- A high-energy, results-oriented individual who can make a difference; an individual who takes initiative, makes things happen, accepts accountability, and has a “can do” attitude
- Team player who is creative and flexible in attitude and style to adapt to new situations in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment
- Financial acumen, creative problem-solving, and customer savvy
- A strong value system, unquestioned integrity, and good listening skills
- Video-editing skills and experience with email distribution platforms (Emma or HubSpot), Salesforce, and social media platforms (i.e., LinkedIn) are a plus
