Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for Innovative Medicine Project Delivery Operations Lead to join our Engineering & Property Services team located in New Brunswick, NJ, Raritan, NJ, Titusville, NJ, Malvern, PA or Horsham, PA.

The Innovative Medicine (IM) Project Delivery (PD) Operations Lead is part of the Project Delivery Technical Support Group (TSG), that provides end to end technical support to all capital projects from concept to handover.

The Innovative Medicines Project Delivery Project Delivery Operations Lead is a critical leadership role responsible for the capital projects management performance framework, which encompasses a project portfolio of over $8BB.

This role will ensure that IDEA and all other related business processes are followed and fully adopted by maximizing the value and impact to the business. This includes Governance, Approvals, Resourcing, Prioritization, Network Alignment, Cash Flow, Risk Management and Performance Management. The End-to-End framework also includes key business processes of Site Master/Strategic Planning (SMSP), long range financial planning (LRFP), achievement of the annual business plan (BP) and Cash Flow. Working in close collaboration with JJIM Business Units, provide strategic insights into the growth strategy and future pipeline.
 

Responsibilities:                       

Leadership:

  • Establish the End-to-End capital projects management performance framework, which encompasses an annual portfolio of over $8BB, to deliver optimal value for E&PS and Innovative Medicines.
  • Define clear and strategic objectives for capital prioritization that align with the organization’s overall requirement of the IM R&D, Supply Chain and Commercial organization.
  • Allocate capital efficiently across a diversified range of investments, based on thorough assessments of potential returns and associated risks. Ensure optimal use of resources to maximize the IM portfolio performance.
     

Driving Process and Operational Excellence:

  • Establish a process excellence framework for strategic large capital projects, to define and govern key deliverables for each project phase. Research, define and deploy an associated software system to digitize the governance process.
  • Embed a robust End to End governance process that continuously monitors the performance of investments and assesses the health of the overall portfolio. Utilize performance metrics and analytics to evaluate successes and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize data-driven insights and market intelligence to inform future decision-making. Stay informed on industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly to achieve excellence in the overall portfolio performance.
     

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate closely with all E&PS functions, IM business partners, Finance, Procurement, HR, IT, QA, and EHS teams, etc. to ensure that our standardized business process and standards maximize value for the business from our capital portfolio.
