Position Description:

PHPB 301-50: Health Equity

Class meets virtually from August 18 to December 9 2025.

This course provides an overview of social, economic, and political inequities in the United States and their impact on the health of the poor, uninsured, elderly, minoritized racial/ethnic groups, migrants, gender and sexually diverse groups, rural residents, people with mental and physical disabilities, and other vulnerable and marginalized populations. 

Desired Qualifications:

Master's, at least 18 graduate hours in public health, at least one semester of classroom teaching experience and excellent communication skills. Preferred qualifications include skill in providing quality instruction and support to a diverse student body and ability to use different learning technologies to enhance student learning.
