Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Senior Management & Statutory Reporting Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of engineering tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Honolulu, HI.

We are currently looking for a Senior Management & Statutory Reporting Specialist based in Honolulu to ensure the annual and monthly financial statements according to the Hitachi Rail financial policies and deadlines, to the local law and fiscal requirements.
Accountabilities:
- Ensure the compliance with local tax requirement and will perform internal controls to ensure the effectiveness of the local processes, according to RSBU and LE requirements.
- Support the F&T department and the Local JV management in the Business Operation.
- Ability to work well with the team.
- Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines. Intellectual curiosity and willingness to develop different kinds of expertise in addition to his/her own area of responsibility.
- Capability in planning and managing his/her own tasks autonomously.
- Critical thinking and problem solving ability.
- Flexibility and good skills in evaluating priorities and urgencies.
Required skills/knowledge:
- Accounting experience (more than 5 years in same position).
- SAP experience
- Proficiency in Word, Excel.
Desired skills/knowledge:
- Certified Public Accountant
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Accounting/ Economics.
Languages:
English-Proficient
