Your New Role...
Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc., the global leader in real life entertainment with powerful brands such as Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, HGTV, Food Network, ID and Travel Channel, is searching for a Production Coordinator in our New York office. This organized multi-tasker will help traffic and manage the flow of content deliverables through all phases of production - from inception to delivery for the Investigation Discovery Production team. The ideal candidate is extremely organized, with strong attention to detail, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Maintain multiple department databases and documents, including Production Report, Production Hours document, and story database.
- Manage calendar for SVP of Production and VPs of Production as needed.
- Assist Producers with any footage/asset’s requests and clips for internal meetings.
- Create PowerPoint presentations, organize and pull clips from shows for various meetings.
- Assist in tracking of production contacts and showrunner resumes.
- Partner with the digital team, Marketing, Photo Services and Communications to help coordinate shared talent, and content, while also helping to obtain programming/series assets to be shared.
- Create, gather, update, distribute, and maintain weekly/monthly production documents.
- Coordinate department calendars, meetings, and conference calls including booking catering, gathering, and organizing materials, running video, and taking notes.
- Request media assets when needed.
- Coordinate/Organize/Acquire/Gather/Distribute needed assets to internal and external producers.
- Take meeting notes and help create meeting agendas.
- Manage incoming project requests and work with executive team to assign projects to producers, freelance producers, and production partners.
- Add show information to production report; add production contacts to internal database.
- Manage acquisition assets and deliverables, as needed/assigned.
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience...
- BS/BA in Communications or related discipline and 1 - 2 years of experience at either a Network or Entertainment Company
- Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills
- Interest in true crime and investigative content
- Knowledge of normal office software, including Outlook and SharePoint
- Knowledge of video codecs and platforms
- Ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed in a deadline-driven environment
- Self-starter who can work independently
- Willingness to learn WBD internal systems
- Editing experience a plus
- Positive, can-do, team-player Attitude
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $42,209.00 - $78,389.00 salary per year.
