Join our dynamic Infectious Disease Developed Markets team located in Scarborough, Maine as Manufacturing Facilites Engineer. This role is responsible for providing and assisting the overall strategic facility planning for the site. Responsibilities include planning budgets, submitting approvals, and managing facility modifications including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs. Working closely with Facilities Management, outside contractors including architects, engineers, general contractors, and trades people, this role oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout and ensures the safety and effectiveness of all facility modification.
What You’ll Work On
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal agencies.
- Manages and completes QMS (Quality Management System) actions and items related to facility processes and equipment as needed.
- Adheres and enforces all relevant safety protocols and philosophies for internal staff members and the actions of vendors working on relevant projects.
- Works closely with other departments to define, coordinate, and execute project actions to meet established timelines.
- Assists the Facilities Technician teams in trouble shooting, identifying root causes, and corrective actions for equipment issues.
- Support facilities teams by performing related tasks as requested.
- Coordinates with Facility Leadership Team to maintain building interior, exterior and grounds to ensure facilities meets the business needs, including communication with the landlord and property management group.
