Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description
This self-motivated and highly organized individual will serve as a strategic liaison between the Sponsorship Sales team and internal teams across NBC Universal with a variety of functions related to creative client solutions and sponsorship fulfillment. This position requires the individual to understand the customer’s goals and follow the process from concept creation through execution, ensuring those goals have been met, working with various NBC Golf departments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Pre-sale process: Attend meetings with advertisers, agencies, and/or internal NBCU group to identify client needs; lead internal briefing sessions of cross-disciplinary teams; develop response proposals ensuring content ideas are purposeful, on-brand, and on-strategy; and pitch ideas succinctly & effectively
- Create Marketing Strategy: Synthesize advertiser direction, sales strategy, and consumer insights into compelling strategic platforms that focus thinking and spark creative ideation
- Storytelling: Weave insights and ideas into compelling, coherent stories using PowerPoint and / or Word
- Communication: Cultivate relationships and facilitate efficient, transparent communication with internal partners: sales, production, marketing, digital, social, etc.
- Cross-platform dexterity: Develop and communicate ideas that stretch across platforms (linear, streaming, digital, social, experiential, etc.)
- Expertise in digital with a strong track record of executing campaigns across video, social, OTT, and emerging formats
- Post-sale process: Develop the overall activation and fulfillment plan for individual accounts, inclusive of client’s KPI’s, and prepare recap / renewal materials

Qualifications
- Four-year degree (B.A.,B.S) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience
- 5 + years sponsorship and marketing experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Powerpoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Candidate to work hybrid schedule based in one of the following cities: Stamford, CT; Ponte Vedra, FL
- Willingness to travel and work on weekends as needed
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
Salary range: $95,000 - $105,000 (SIC eligible)
