Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2026 Supplier Quality Operation - Intern. In this role, you will you will collaborate with other disciplines such as program management, engineering, manufacturing and supply chain on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of problem-solving in a systematic way, oral and written communication skills and experience working on a team.

Candidate must be an US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering or in a technical/or STEM discipline

Proficient with Microsoft Office; particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience with solving problems in a systematic way.

Ability to succeed in dynamic and autonomous program support role

Desired skills

Familiar with statistical analysis & process control, sampling, six sigma, FAI, PPAP, PFMEA, process auditing or validation, root cause analysis and corrective action validations, and supplier quality management.

Lean Six Sigma Certification.

History of collaborating cross-functionally to improve customer outcomes.
