JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Forensic Science program seeks to hire a part-time Teaching Assistant for the 2023/2024 academic year for FRNSC 100 – Introduction to Forensic Science.
Successful candidates will be expected to perform the following duties:
Grade submitted assignments, including (but not limited to) case notes homework, quizzes, exam, professional profiles, and/or extra credit
Interact with students via email and chatroom to facilitate understanding of course material and scientific concepts
Transcribe/caption lectures, videos, and/or other recordings for ADA compliance
Attend a weekly meeting with their supervisor
Other duties as assigned by the instructor
Applicants must have bachelor's degree in a natural science or related subject.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
