As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead real estate development and fit-out projects across commercial, office, and industrial sectors — from idea to handover. You will also play a key role in conducting high-quality Technical Due Diligence (TDD) by assessing technical condition of properties, identifying risks, and providing strategic advice to support transactions, developments, and asset management decisions. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a client-focused mindset. You will serve as a trusted advisor to both occupiers and investors, delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. You will also help shape our service offering, support business development, and mentor junior colleagues.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and wants to have a direct impact — not just on buildings, but on how Cushman & Wakefield grows in the Swedish market.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive Technical Due Diligence for investors and occupiers, including building structure, MEP systems, and site infrastructure as well as environmental aspects (Environmental Due Diligence)
Evaluate compliance with Swedish building codes, fire safety regulations, and planning permissions
Support clients in buy-side and vendor due diligence, providing insights that inform negotiations and investment strategies
Prepare detailed TDD reports, including risk analysis, CapEx forecasts, and recommendations for remedial actions or upgrades
Represent clients throughout the project lifecycle
Manage procurement, time, cost, quality, and programme
Ensure alignment with client objectives, sustainability goals, and local regulations
Drive collaboration with consultants, contractors, and internal teams
Contribute to business development and client relationship growth
Mentor junior team members and shape our ways of working
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent
7–10+ years of project management experience in real estate or construction
Experience in Technical Due Diligence and Environmental Due Diligence is preferred
Strong knowledge of Swedish construction standards, building regulations, and real estate market dynamics
Fluent in Swedish; very good communication skills in English
Meriting Experience (not required, but valuable):
Quantity surveying, cost management or value engineering
ESG advisory, building certification (e.g., BREEAM, Miljöbyggnad) and energy performance consulting
Commercial client networks and deal experience
