The Opportunity
Simpplr is looking for a Product Strategy and Operations leader for its market-leading product that is defining the way companies engage and connect with their employees. This role will be working with multiple product teams based out of India/US/UK/Canada offices. This role will report directly to the Chief Product and Customer Experience Officer.
As a Product Strategy and Operations Leader, you will play a critical role in helping the company define and execute its product strategy and manage the operational rhythm of product usage and adoption health. You will be responsible for defining product-related metrics and developing insights to guide our product roadmap as well as measure the impact of capabilities being delivered especially around customer business value. You will also be responsible for understanding macro market trends, specifically around category adjacencies and disruptive trends, and developing strategies to capitalize on these trends working closely with product and CX leads and other cross-functional teams.
Your Job Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
Product Strategy:
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Product and Customer Experience Officer, product and UX leads in helping shape long-term product strategy and vision for the company
- Communicate and evangelize data driven insights to drive product strategy
- Create a data driven feedback loop to iterate product strategy regularly
Market opportunity analysis:
- Define, analyze, assess and/or perform Total Available Market (TAM) and Serviceable Available Market (SAM) assessments for future business opportunities
- Conduct market research where required to understand macro market trends, including category adjacencies, competitive landscape and disruptive trends to identify product gaps, articulate market opportunities and inform product roadmap decisions
- Work closely with product marketing and product leads in aligning with analyst feedback and shaping our narrative
Product & Business Impact:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success, to ensure that we track leading and lagging indicators of product usage and adoption to align with customer needs and business value goals
- Define and track product-related metrics to measure the success of our product offerings
- Play a pivotal role in shaping the ongoing product and platform monetization/pricing strategy and execution in partnership with Finance and GTM teams
Operational Cadence:
- Manage day-to-day product operations including product dashboards, reporting out on key success metrics to key stakeholders and drive operational cadence - planning and execution for key business and product milestones
- Build and lead a team of product analysts to support the product strategy and operations function
- Architect, design, and oversee the building of relevant dashboards to support business reviews to analyze the health of the product and platform
Your Skillset
What makes you a great fit for the team:
- 10+ years of experience in product strategy and operations in a SaaS company
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop insights from data and market trends
- Experience with product-related metrics and KPIs
- Experience in market research and analysis, specifically around category adjacencies and disruptive trends. Any prior experience and knowledge of HR tech, Customer Experience, and or B2B2E (Employees) domains would be a bonus.
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success
- Strong leadership - player/coach skills, with the ability to build and lead a team of product analysts and program managers
