Job Description:
As a Sr Social Business Specialist, you’ll help bring Southwest’s social strategy to life by leading enterprise-wide programs, managing digital creator partnerships, and creating compelling content for Getaways by Southwest Instagram and TikTok channels. You’ll serve as a seasoned community manager across internal and external platforms, engaging in key conversations and identifying opportunities to enhance brand reputation, drive revenue, and deepen Customer and Employee engagement. From shooting and producing social content to activating A/B tests and supporting internal collaboration tools, you’ll play a hands-on role in shaping Southwest’s digital voice. You’ll also monitor social insights to proactively identify risks and opportunities, while also mentoring others and helping grow a Culture of innovation and connection across Southwest.

Responsibilities- Create and execute social media programs that create brand loyalty, revenue streams, Customer insights, increased Reputation, and Employee engagement
- Serve as a seasoned community manager across internal and external social media platforms, engaging with key influencers and in key conversations to enhance Southwest’s reputation
- Manage relationships with social media influencers and content creators and create and execute campaigns that support key business priorities
- Develop content for internal social network that increases adoption and engagement among Employees
- Support the adoption of internal collaboration tools and social media platforms through communication, training, and programs
- Identify and lead exploratory efforts and pilot programs that support the development of new social and digital programs
- Works in the Listening Center and is watchful for opportunities and risks that may arise from social media insights
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
- Strong knowledge and understanding of social and digital media landscape
- Skilled in creating and executing social media programs that drive organizational performance in the areas of Communication, Marketing, and Engagement
- Skilled in identifying and curating stories through social media engagement and/or listening tools that support the Company’s goals and objectives
- Skilled in performing social listening and content performance analysis through social media management tools and making recommendations based on insights
- Skilled in prioritization of projects with time constraints and complete them in a timely manner
- Skilled in handling multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
- Skilled in listening to, understanding, and communicating ideas presented in writing and/or in speaking with others
- Skilled in coming up with unusual or clever ideas about a given topic or situation, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Intermediate-level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in:
- Social media content planning, calendaring, publishing, listening, and measurement
- Short-form and long-form content production via photography and video editing across multiple social platforms
