REMOTE Alteryx ETL Data Warehouse Developer III

Candidates MUST have Alteryx experience related to ETL, not just Alteryx experience based in data prep. The manager is also looking for candidates with strong and recent SQL skills. Candidates will be required to write complex SQL queries with Alteryx when they interview with ETF and will need to answer very detailed questions regarding their background with Alteryx.

The State of Wisconsin ETF is looking for a Data Warehouse Developer III.

Top Skills & Years of Experience:

a. Gathering requirements and developing technical specifications for ETL – 6 years

b. Using ETL tools to design ETL jobs (ETL 6 years, MINIMUM 2 years of ETL with Alteryx)

c. Developing various types of data loads (e.g. incremental, history/full, survivorship rules) – 6 years

d. Implementing change data capture (CDC) – 4 years

e. Testing and debugging ETL – 6 years

f. Developing complex SQL - 6 years (should be recent experience)

g. ETL job scheduling – 2 years

h. Loading data warehouses using ETL tools – 2 years

Nice to Have:

a. Management of multiple ETL tools

b. Experience with data quality tools and frameworks - preferred

c. Using source code version control software - preferred
