Job Title: Marketing Specialist
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Marketing Messaging Manager
Position Summary:
Trulieve’s Marketing Specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to engage and coordinate with the customer-facing teams to produce materials needed for Trulieve’s communication plan. They will partner with multiple departments to understand key customer priorities and inform the creative briefing process. They will translate go-to-market strategies and identified opportunities into actionable and measurable programs, ensure campaigns and activations are executed on-time, accurately, and successfully. The candidate will be responsible for assisting and executing multiple projects across the marketing department including the creative process, event planning, promotional strategy and more. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring performance and reporting on results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Messaging Manager in building comms plan including determining messages, cadence, timing and segments
- Submit all creative briefs for daily comms including: Email, SMS, In-store screens, website banners, video, & Customer facing POS screens
- Reviewing and approving all creative within the creative iterative process (Monday.com as a management tool)
- Assist Messaging Manager in developing nightly retail and x-functional communications
- Activation Execution: logistics management; retail communications; vendor management; budget management
- Support Brand Partner pop-ups with comms and creative support. Ensure product is reflected in stores for Brand Partner days in partnership with allocation teams.
- Brief in communication needs for Activation including hype comms
- Update Retail Hub Deck for Retail meeting with Marketing key moments in partnership with DOM and Marketing Manager to ensure Retail is set for success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field required.
- 2+ years of working experience in marketing and/or marketing space
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; ability to multitask and effectively manage time.
- Stronger written and verbal communication skills
- Experience writing creative briefs with the intention of translating business objectives into creative assets
- Previous experience managing events and marketing campaigns.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, creative iterative process, and event planning.
- The ability to plan, execute, and analyze an overall marketing strategy including paid, earned, and owned media.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively with a variety of tasks and business partners (both internal and external partners); must be able to work cross-functionally with internal sales and operations teams to effectively generate, execute and report on marketing programs.
- Ability to interact with various levels of stakeholders and make decisions based on data and insights.
- Acute attention to detail; demonstrated ability for accuracy and thoroughness.
- Proven negotiation, problem-solving, organization and project management skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Smartsheets, Monday.com)
