FE Group Sector Lead (Automation)

Position Summary

Responsible for organizing and directing the maintenance of various production equipment, machinery and facilities preventively to ensure their performance and product quality remains consistent without any environmental safety concerns.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Performance management; plan for performance management by inspecting machinery, equipment, and facilities.
2. Preventive maintenance of production machinery, equipment and facilities
3. Manage improvement in production machinery, equipment and facilities.
4. Collaborate with relevant departments for productivity and quality issues for cost savings.
5. Robot and Vision (Programming) experience required.
6. People Management skills: 
• Train, mentor, guide, and coach associates as needed.
• Monitor time keeping and approve timecards, which includes monitoring and calculating Bereavement Leave, FMLA, Jury Duty, Military Leave, PTO, STD, Parental Leave, etc.
• Manage individual employee performance by conducting performance evaluations and delivering performance improvement notifications.
7. All other duties assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma plus 12 years of specific relevant experience required; or Associate degree in electrical/mechanical or other related discipline plus 6 years of specific relevant experience preferred; or Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical or other related discipline preferred.
• Experience:  5 or more years of relevant work experience in specific field 
• Knowledge: Develop improvement plans for modifying and improving production machinery, equipment and facilities used in the process of production.
• Skills: Robotic Programing and installation experience required   
• Physical requirement:  All employees for all positions must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
