The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $90,000 to $100,000 per year at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will Do In This Role:
As a Field Service Controls Engineer at Dematic Corp., you will have the innovative opportunity to work on powerful technology and provide world-class service to our clients. Your role is essential in ensuring our equipment operates flawlessly and meets our high standards of performance. You will:
- Participate in semi-complex equipment trial runs, investigative tests, repairs, and overhauls, ensuring all processes are carried out with outstanding precision.
- Train customers on the use and maintenance of our semi-complex products and services, empowering them to achieve efficient performance.
- Perform maintenance on tools and test equipment, meticulously detailing all inspections, maintenance, repair work, and failures to maintain a comprehensive service history.
- Respond to service calls, assessing the performance of semi-complex products and equipment, and recommend modifications or improvements to improve functionality.
- Identify and address problems as they occur, taking appropriate steps to resolve them efficiently and effectively.
What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking an ambitious Field Service Controls Engineer who is ready to tackle challenges and thrive in a multifaceted environment. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Must travel on short notice and spend over 80% of time traveling, potentially away from home for long periods.
- Availability during off hours, including weekends, holidays, and off shifts, to meet the demands of our clients.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
- Strong written communication skills, capable of writing clear and concise trip reports in accordance with Dematic's procedures.
