In this role, you’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot facility systems, and support site operations to keep our infrastructure running smoothly. This position requires a strong understanding of standard operating procedures, sound judgment in problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and team members.
What You’ll Do
Facility & Infrastructure Maintenance
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance checks on facility components and systems
Complete repairs, installations, and inspections with a focus on energy efficiency
Monitor the Building Management System (BMS) and respond to alarms, resolving issues by following SOPs
Operate and maintain plumbing, fire suppression, safety systems, and other infrastructure under the guidance of senior staff
Vendor Support
Coordinate with service providers, ensuring work is carried out per company standards
Support vendor processes, including work approvals, briefings, daily tracking, and final reviews
Assist with maintaining up-to-date technical files and documentation for plants and equipment
Site Administration & Incident Response
Maintain accurate site logs, permits, and Maintenance Operation Protocols (MOPs)
Identify potential risks such as Single Points of Failure (SPOFs) and provide recommendations
Respond to on-site incidents, including system failures, delays, or technical issues
Work Orders & Projects
Complete work requests and circuit installations
Troubleshoot and maintain office and auxiliary equipment to minimize downtime
Make minor adjustments to electrical, mechanical, or specialized systems as directed
Assist with infrastructure projects and upgrades
Collaboration & Team Support
Partner with colleagues to resolve facility incidents
Mentor team members on general maintenance activities
Track and communicate inventory needs to ensure critical parts and supplies are available
Recommend improvements or future infrastructure projects
What You’ll Bring
High school diploma (or equivalent) required
2–4 years of experience in facility operations, maintenance, or a related field
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience with BMS systems and vendor coordination is a plus
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - DC12 Washington DC : 67,000 - 101,000 USD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
