About the role

Description

The Institute of Biomolecular Design & Discovery (IBDD), in partnership with the Department of Chemistry, Yale University, New Haven, CT, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank to commence as early as July 1, 2027. The IBDD is a chemical biology-focused research institute, one of seven multidisciplinary research institutes at Yale University’s West Campus. Institute faculty hold a primary appointment in a life science, physical science, or engineering department. 

Currently, we seek to identify candidates whose research interests and accomplishments align with the Institute and the Chemistry Department. We seek creative teacher-scholars to teach courses and develop outstanding research programs in chemical biology broadly defined.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline.
