About the role

Responds to emergency situations and provides emergency medical care to any one in need. When not responding to an emergency, the paramedic is responsible for ensuring that the paramedic vehicle is ready for the next emergency and that all proper documentation has been completed for all responses.

Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through the completion of an Associates degree for Paramedics initially certified after June 2015

Work also requires a New Jersey Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic Certification and one year experience as a Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic

Certification in CPR, ACLS, PALS, ICS 100, ICS 200 and ICS 700 required

Certification in BTLS or PHTLS Provider and NREMT-P preferred

Valid driver’s license with no pending violations and an acceptable driving record
