Business Analyst - Journeyman

Tyto Athene is searching for a Business Analyst - Journeyman to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.

 

Responsibilities:

• Provides subject matter expertise in Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) to support the evaluation and integration of Command and Control (C2) and cybersecurity capabilities for Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
• Translate operational needs into functional and technical requirements aligned with DoD and Command objectives
• Ensure solutions comply with DoD directives, federal regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST, DFARS), and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Develop and implement analytical frameworks and tools to enhance evaluation, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
• Support the integration of cybersecurity acquisition lifecycle and operational environments.
• Collaborate across combatant commands, agencies, and contractors to gather input and drive alignment on project goals.
• Identify inefficiencies in business or mission processes and propose Lean Six Sigma or Agile-based improvements.
• Conduct quality assurance (QA) reviews to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of deliverables.
• Align system and operational requirements with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and other cybersecurity best practices.
• Support 24/7/365 operations at Doral, FL, COOP, Exercises, and Deployments

Required:

• 4-9 years of experience and BA/BS or MA/MS

Desired:

• BA’s Degree in IT Management, Program Management, Systems Engineering or related discipline.

Clearance:

• Secret clearance required

 Certification:

• CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional or CASP+ or CISM
• PMP
• IAT Level II or higher
