Our department is responsible for delivering software development projects that make Vestas turbines efficient and safe to operate. We are a team of highly skilled and experienced Project Managers and Project Technical Leads located across three different sites in India, Portugal, and Denmark.<br/> As a member of the Project Execution team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and impactful projects that contribute to a sustainable future. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.</p> <p> </p> <p>Responsibilities<br/> As a Software Project Manager you'll be responsible for</p> <ul> <li>Lead and deliver strategic, large-scale, high-impact projects within agreed scope, timeline and cost, while ensuring high quality.</li> <li>Plan, develop, implement, and control the project according to Vestas Governance and report to relevant stakeholders</li> <li>Identify and monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans as needed.</li> <li>Ensure value chain alignment with a large range of project stakeholders</li> <li>Setup an effective organization of your projects including strong governance - Project Leadership is key in this role</li> <li>Guide continuous improvement in project management methodologies, processes, and tools, and ensure their effective implementation across the organization.</li> <li>Mentor and coach junior project managers, providing guidance and support to promote their professional development</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>We expect that you have a Diploma or Master level education within the relevant academic field (e.g. Engineering or Business)</li> <li>Minimum 8 years of proven experience in managing high complexity Software Product development projects in a matrix organization with multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams</li> <li>Ideally have achieved recognized Project Management accreditation (either Prince2, PMI or similar)</li> <li>Experience with Agile software development methodologies and project management tools such as Jira, MS Project; Confluence</li> <li>Advanced language skills (verbal and written) in English are required</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Competencies</p> <ul> <li>High level of leadership &amp; communication skills targeting the relevant audience in the organization, across cultures</li> <li>Open-minded and attracted by an international and high pace environment</li> <li>Ability to take ownership and effectively engage in continuous improvements within the project execution within the department</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What we offer<br/> We offer an opportunity to be part of a solid team in an exciting business with very solid products, supporting Vestas' overall mission.
