About The Role
Parts Sales Clerk will take part orders by phone and other communications media from end users and dealers. They will communicate effectively with outside and inside sources while facilitating parts orders for correctness and on-time delivery.
Responsibilities
- Will respond to phone calls and other media for parts sales request in a very timely manner.
- Retrieves prints, gives pricing, prepares quotes, and gives answers to customers pertaining to trailers and parts sales.
- Effectively identifies trailers by model and serial number to research parts, prints and a multitude of information about trailers.
- Report errors in costing, descriptions, etc. for continuous improvement.
- Tracks production orders for special parts and follows up to ensure timely completion.
- Responds to walk in customers as it pertains to parts.
- Uses computer programs to complete task.
Assume additional tasks and responsibilities as required.
Candidate Requirements
Must possess a high school diploma, two-year degree preferred with 4-5 years’ experience Trail King Product knowledge preferred. High level of verbal and communication skills needed to effectively convey information to customers, sales, and dealers. Computer and phone skills a must with self-motivation and ability to be organized and have attention to detail.
