The City of Peoria, Parks & Recreation department is looking for an individual interested in a part-time position mowing baseball fields and landscape turf at the Peoria Sports Complex, home to the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners Major League baseball clubs. This position takes directions from full-time staff and exercises no supervision.  Shifts are flexible and will average approximately 20 hours per week.

The ideal candidate for this position will be:

• Safety-conscious, punctual, and committed to a strong work ethic.
• Skilled and comfortable operating industrial or specialty mowing equipment.
• Capable of performing essential functions in highly visible, public-use areas.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiar with basic maintenance methods and practices.
• Flexible with schedules that may include nights and weekends.
