The Accounts Payable department plays a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations across the entire system by managing invoice processing from start to finish. As part of this collaborative team, AP Analysts tackle invoice exceptions, engage with suppliers to ensure timely follow-up, and drive payment completion with precision and efficiency. In addition to daily responsibilities, team members also take on assigned projects that support ongoing improvements and cross-functional initiatives.Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial reports to identify and resolve open or outstanding invoices
- Respond to daily inquiries from internal and external stakeholders with professionalism and timeliness
- Maintain departmental productivity standards and demonstrate proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) software systems
- Accurately enter high volumes of purchase order and non–purchase order invoices from multiple business units
- Validate invoice details and upload data into the AP system using electronic copies
- Support special projects and perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Requires 0-3 years experience in accounts payable or related field.
• Requires experience using Microsoft Office products/applications.
• Post-secondary training and/or education in accounting, book keeping, information management or related experience is a plus. Experience with Vendor statement reviews or reconciliation is a plus.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a plus.
