Hours per week will vary between 4-24 hours. Work schedule to be discussed during interview. The projected dates for this assignment are from September 12, 2024, to October 19, 2024.

Purpose

To provide flu vaccine injections at UHS outreach clinics on campus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide flu vaccine injections including documentation per UHS requirements.

  • Exhibits exceptional customer service, professionalism, and teamwork in all aspects of work.

  • Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance pattern.

Required Qualifications

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas. One year or more of experience as a Registered Nurse. Demonstrated ability to successfully work with a diverse community and provide services from a nonjudgmental perspective. Excellent verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience administering routine immunizations. Experience using an electronic medical record.

Hourly Rate

$35.41

Working Conditions

  • Business casual attire - shirts/pants or scrubs, closed-toe shoes, additional working conditions: walking; provide surgical masks and hand sanitizer; provide a working environment where mask-wearing is optional for staff.

  • Standard office environment.

  • Use of manual dexterity, lifting, pushing, or pulling, and standing.

Work Shift

  • 9:30AM 4PM. Work schedule will vary. Hours per week will vary between 4-24 hours. Work schedule to be discussed during interview.
